Ingredientes

  • 2 colheres (sopa) de óleo vegetal (30 ml)
  • 500 g de carne (bovina, frango ou suína) em cubos ou fatias
  • 1 cenoura média em cubos (200 g)
  • 3 batatas médias em cubos (450 g)
  • 4 cebolas médias em cubos (800 g)
  • 5 ½ xícaras (chá) de água (1,4 l)
  • 1 tablete de Vermont Curry House Foods (230g)

Modo de preparo

Em fogo médio, em uma panela, pré-aqueça o óleo, adicione a carne e os vegetais e refogue até ficarem levemente dourados. Adicione a água e deixe ferver. Deixe cozinhar em fogo baixo a médio por aproximadamente 15 minutos, até que os ingredientes fiquem macios.

Desligue o fogo, quebre em partes o tablete e adicione, misturando até dissolver.
Volte a cozinhar em fogo baixo, por aproximadamente 10 minutos, até engrossar.

Sirva com arroz japonês (gohan) ou massas.

Dicas:

  • Para essa receita, usamos o Vermont Curry House Foods Med. Hot. Se quiser variar a picância, você pode usar a versão Mild ou Hot.
  • Pode acrescentar vegetais como abóbora cabotiá e vagem, entre outros. Para uma versão vegetariana substitua a carne por vegetais.
